Fund Services. Senior Fund Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join our Fund Services team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in managing the administration of a portfolio of hedge fund clients, ensuring accurate Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Fund Administration: Perform comprehensive administration services for a portfolio of hedge fund clients, ensuring all aspects align with administration agreements.
• Review & Validation: Conduct consolidation and validation reviews of functional handovers across various internal teams and locations.
• NAV & Reporting: Prepare and/or perform the initial review of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, financial statements, and all associated reports.
• Portfolio Valuation: Accurately value hedge fund portfolio holdings.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze fund performance and prepare detailed performance and Profit & Loss (P&L) related reports.
• Timely Execution: Demonstrate strong ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring timely completion in line with demanding client service agreements.
• Issue Escalation: Promptly escalate priority issues to your supervisor and/or Assistant Vice President with detailed information.
• Relationship Management: Maintain day-to-day relationships with various internal Citco teams, including Operational Support, Middle Office, Pricing, Investor Relations, and Relationship Management Fund Accounting teams.
• External Support: Address queries from external parties, such as clients, auditors, and other advisors.
• Compliance: Maintain a current and thorough understanding of applicable best practice policies and client-specific agreements.
• Team Contribution: Actively contribute to team and/or departmental initiatives.

• 06:00 PM to 03:00 AM

About You

• Education: Degree qualified in Accounting or a Finance-related area, and/or currently studying for a professional accounting qualification.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Financial Services, particularly within a high-volume operational environment and/or the hedge fund industry (an advantage).
• Industry Interest: Demonstrate an active interest in financial markets and the hedge fund industry.
• Skills: Possess strong financial, accounting, and analytical skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
