Fund Administration – Supervisor / Team Lead, Fund Services (Mumbai, India)

An established international fund services firm is seeking an experienced Fund Administration - Supervisor / Team Leadto join its growing team.

This is a hands-on supervisory role combining fund accounting oversight, client servicing and people management. You will act as the primary reviewer for complex fund deliverables, manage client requirements and supervise junior fund administration professionals while developing towards broader management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review NAV calculations, fund accounting workpapers and client deliverables for accuracy and timely completion.
• Review cash and position reconciliations, accruals, dividends, interest and other fund accounting activities.
• Review capital calls, distributions, investor statements, transfers and other investor activities.
• Review fee allocations including management fees, performance fees, carried interest, waterfalls and clawbacks where applicable.
• Review financial statements and treasury transactions as required.
• Manage complex fund structures and support new fund/entity onboarding.
• Serve as a key client contact, managing queries, open items and agreed resolutions.
• Develop a strong understanding of fund structures, operating agreements, PPMs and other governing documents.
• Supervise and coach Associates and Senior Associates, ensuring quality and effective workflow management.
• Support training, performance reviews, resource planning and other team management responsibilities.
• Escalate critical issues appropriately and coordinate with international teams where required.
• Support fund budgeting, profitability analysis and Assets Under Administration reporting.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in Fund Administration, Fund Accounting, Asset Management Audit or related financial services.
• Strong knowledge of NAV reporting, financial statements, capital activities and fund accounting processes.
• Experience with complex fund structures and client-facing responsibilities.
• At least 1 year of people management or supervisory experience.
• Exposure to financial reporting, regulatory compliance or U.S. taxation would be beneficial.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, client servicing and stakeholder management skills.
