- The Direct Lending Operations team in Hyderabad supports the firm's direct lending strategy by ensuring accurate fund accounting, reporting, and liquidity management for closed-ended fund structures. The team works closely with fund administrators, investment teams, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable investor reporting and maintain strong fund controls. Joining this team provides exposure to private debt funds, end-to-end fund operations, and the opportunity to take ownership of complex portfolios while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing culture.
How You Will Add Value
- You will manage a portfolio of direct lending funds.
- You will deliver accurate quarterly reporting to investors.
- You will coordinate quarter-end timelines with fund administrators.
- You will prepare and review net asset value and profit and loss reporting.
- You will resolve data discrepancies with administrators.
- You will review financial statements under multiple accounting standards.
- You will calculate management fees, performance fees, and carried interest.
- You will prepare fund-level performance and key performance indicator analysis.
- You will review fund documentation and ensure investment guideline compliance.
- You will manage liquidity through capital calls, distributions, and leverage usage.
- You will monitor foreign exchange exposures and hedging activity.
- You will maintain fund data in the portfolio management system.
What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role
Experience
- At least three years of experience with closed-ended LP and GP fund structures
- Background in fund accounting within private debt or alternative investments
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification / CA
- ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
Technical Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Solid understanding of financial statements and fund reporting metrics
Soft Skills
- Ability to manage multiple workflows and deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently
Work Shift Timings - 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST
