Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for maintenance of in-house accounting records and Real estate systems (Investran (or equivalent), Pereview, Anaplan);
- Preparation of quarterly investor questionaries;
- Preparation of debt compliance certificates;
- Preparation of investor RFP responses and ad hoc queries;
- Input into quarterly and annual financial reporting processes include:
- SPV and Fund review (100+ entities);
- Assistance with presentation of reports to internal stakeholders and Fund boards;
- Assisting with the Funds audits;
- Support the London-based team on a broad range of tasks including transactions and cash management;
- Ad hoc internal and external reporting for a wide range of stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent (CPA designation preferred);
- 2+ years experience in Funds management, ideally in-house with a Real Estate Fund Manager.
Required Skills
- Experience in investment/property/Fund accounting and analysis;
- System minded and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, with Investran and Anaplan experience a plus;
- 2 years+ IFRS knowledge on technical Real Estate standards and/or Fund structures;
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task coupled with an inquisitive mindset;
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently;
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
