Functional Tester

This position is for a Business Tester for IT systems focusing on Payments and Cash Management for the BNPP Group. This role involves comprehensive functional analysis and testing, including the execution of both functional and regression tests.

You will be working on Platform MX, a new Reporting platform tool for BNP Paribas. This platform integrates and translates various reporting formats according to client needs and leverages cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, BDD, Cloud, and Java.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities:

• Possess a strong understanding of testing principles and practices.
• Ability to plan, design, and execute test cases effectively.
• Communicate effectively with both IT teams and Business Teams.
• Experience in functional specification analysis.
• Work in close coordination with the functional test team to analyze test cases thoroughly, ensuring adequate coverage of requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Development teams and Business Analysts to resolve technical and business issues and develop a clear understanding of project and test objectives.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective communication with both IT and Business teams.
• Be flexible, independent, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Perform other testing-related duties as required.

IT Skills & Behavioral Competencies

Skills Required (At least a few from the below on Business Analysis):

• Knowledge of Payments and Cash Management domain, including reporting formats like MT9xx, camt.052, camt.053, camt.054 (required).
• Customer-oriented approach (required).
• Proficient in analytical skills (required).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (required).
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD approach (required).
• Ability to write test features for Cucumber (required).
• Skillful in XML/XSD and SQL language (required).
• Experienced user of ALM/QC, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint.
• Experience in working in an Agile environment.
• XSLT Template (optional).

Specific Qualifications

• Any Graduation / Master's Degree.
• BABOK certification is a plus.
