About the Role

The Functional Tester will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. This position involves working closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues before product release.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases based on functional specifications.
• Identify, document, and track defects in the software.
• Collaborate with developers to understand features and functionality.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected by new changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in software testing are a plus.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with automation testing tools.
