Job Title: Functional Consultant – ERP (New Implementations for Food & Beverage ERP)

Location: Bangalore, India

Shift: 5 PM to 2 AM

Role Overview

We are hiring a mid-level Functional Consultant to participate as a member of the implementation team for Aptean Food & Beverage ERP suite built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

This role will provide ERP consulting and support to Aptean customers. Participate as a member of the implementation team to deploy new projects, and/or provide on-going support to their existing installation. Consult with customers in the configuration and usage of application modules; research and resolve problems and issues. Manage customer expectations and foster positive business relationships with all customers. Requires interface with customers and other team members. May involve travel to customer sites.

This role requires deep familiarity with Business Central, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a virtual global team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consulting services to customers based on Aptean's service delivery methodology and procedures; services engagements may include implementation consulting, upgrade consulting, training, testing, and/or process improvement consulting
• Participate in requirements gathering sessions with customers, understand their current business processes and analyze their requirements from Aptean F&B, document the requirements. Do a fit-gap analysis.
• Perform functional analysis, configuration, and testing based on requirements discovered above
• Effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Work collaboratively with project manager and project team to deliver projects on time, on budget, on schedule.
• May be required to design solutions and prepare design specifications, particularly to integrate customer's other business systems with Aptean's F&B ERP
• Work with customers and Account Management team to uncover opportunities for additional products and services.
• May be required to estimate activities for future work.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on functional implementation experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Proven experience in ERP implementation projects, preferably in the manufacturing or food & beverage sector
• Ability to independently handle enhancement requests, user training, and functional testing
• Strong documentation and communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate requirements and outcomes
• Experience working in a global delivery model or supporting international clients

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to JustFood, bcFood, or other Aptean F&B verticals
• Familiarity with AL language or BC extensions
• Understanding of food safety, lot traceability, or industry-specific compliance workflows
