Documentation & Standards: Define, rigorously document, and maintain all technical requirements, specifications, and standardized test procedures for camera calibration.
Development & Validation: Develop and validate robust calibration routines and diagnostic tools specifically engineered for a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Hardware Engineering, and Software Development, to ensure seamless and integrated calibration process deployment.
Production Support & Troubleshooting: Lead complex troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts to resolve calibration issues on the production line, focusing on minimizing downtime and achieving all production targets.
Supplier Management: Manage relationships with equipment suppliers, overseeing the specification, procurement, and rigorous validation of all necessary calibration hardware and fixtures.
Process Improvement: Conduct comprehensive analysis of calibration data to monitor process stability, identify adverse trends, and actively drive continuous improvement initiatives
. Compliance & Safety: Ensure the EOL calibration process is fully compliant with all relevant industry standards and stringent functional safety requirements (e.g., ISO 26262).
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field.
Experience: Proven, hands-on experience within an automotive, electronics, or robotics manufacturing environment.
Technical Knowledge: Strong foundational and practical understanding of camera models, optics, and both intrinsic and extrinsic camera calibration principles.
Additional Skills: Strong understanding of Vehicle Dynamics and the ability to interpret and utilize CAD models.
