Role Overview
We're seeking a Full stack Developer with a strong focus on Python-based backend/API development for a web-based forecasting platform. You'll lead API development, work with SQL logic, and support a React frontend through seamless data integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Build scalable REST APIs using Fast API/Flask
- Integrate SQL logic, stored procedures, and forecasting pipelines
- Ensure API security, validation, documentation (Swagger/Open API)
- Optimize backend code and support CI/CD deployments
- Collaborate with frontend (React.js) team for API integration
- Occasionally contribute to frontend (forms, dashboards, validation)
Required Skills
- 35 years in Python backend/API development
- Strong with Fast API, Flask, or Django REST Framework
- SQL proficiency (PostgreSQL, MS SQL)
- RESTful API design, versioning, security best practices
- Git, Postman, Agile workflows
- CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), Docker
Good to Have
- React.js basics, data binding, state management
- Data visualization (Chart.js, Recharts)
- Auth flows (OAuth2, JWT), RBAC
- PyTest, performance tuning, logging
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or related field
- Enterprise platform experience
- Familiar with Jira, Confluence, GitLab
