Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC, for a Tax Planner specializing in US Federal Income Tax. The Tax Planner will prepare and review tax returns, ensure compliance with federal tax regulations, and conduct in-depth research to provide strategic tax planning solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, preparing journal entries, and working closely with the finance team to generate accurate financial reporting. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to optimize tax strategies and identifying opportunities for tax savings.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
  • Proficiency in Finance and Analytical Skills to analyze data and produce actionable insights
  • Experience with Journal Entries and Accounting practices
  • Strong understanding of US Federal Income Tax law and compliance
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualifications, preferred
