Position SummaryRole: Online Instructor
Location: Remote (Online)
Employment Type: Full Time
Duration: 16 weeks
Availability Window: 12:00 PM 9:00 PM IST (Weekdays)
Effort: 8 hours per day, 5 days a week
Compensation: INR 2.5 Lakh (fixed) + 20% performance-linked success fees
As the Data Engineering Instructor, you will train learners to build skills in modern data engineering, enabling them to design, develop, and manage large-scale data pipelines and infrastructure.
You will lead an interactive, hands-on Data Engineering program aligned with the provided Unit Outline. The program requires consistent learner engagement, practical application of concepts, and mentoring support.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging live sessions based on a structured Data Engineering curriculum.
Conducting 8 hours of learner engagement daily, including lectures, discussions, live coding, and guided practice.
Actively mentoring learners, addressing queries, and supporting them through projects and assignments.
Facilitating interactive learning through demonstrations, quizzes, exercises, and real-world case studies.
Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback on performance.
Ensuring high levels of learner engagement, motivation, and successful program completion.
Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in the data engineering field.
Education / Work Experience
A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, IT, or other cognate discipline from reputable universities.
Min 5 years of industry experience working in similar roles (Data Engineer, Data Analyst, etc.) at leading global organizations
Candidates must have some (if not all) of the following professional certifications-
AWS Cloud Practitioner
AWS Data Engineer (Associate)
AWS MLE
AWS DevOps Engineer
Candidate must have experience with the following technologies -
Languages: Python, SQL, Bash
Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
Cloud: AWS (primary), GCP (secondary)
Big Data: Apache Spark, Hadoop ecosystem
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (basics)
Orchestration: Airflow, dbt
Version Control: Git, GitHub
Relevant teaching experience for professional courses would be required
Past experience with organisations like Upgrad, Scaler, Imarticus, Simplilearn etc. will be preferred.
