Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, maintaining records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with budgeting, audits, and tax filings, as well as managing invoices and payments.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks and MS Office tools, especially Excel
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience with tax filing, audits, and compliance management
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience in the timber or related industries is a plus
