Full Stack Product Engineer

Company Description

Flume is building the data layer for global sourcing. We help US-based multifamily and hospitality developers instantly quote factory products - something that's historically been a slow, opaque process. We're seed-funded with a team of 10.

Role Description

We're looking for a Full Stack Product Engineer who wants to own what they build, end-to-end, and ship faster than ever. You are expected to leverage AI tools to ship fast.

Figure out what to build, ship it, talk to users, and iterate until it's great.

You'll be working directly with our CTO and Head of Product to identify the highest-impact problems and ship solutions. Some weeks that's building a new feature from scratch. Other weeks it's improving data pipelines, tightening the UX, or digging into a performance issue.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Full-Stack Development (strong backend experience)
• Experience in Front-End Development
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams in a remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred but not mandatory
• Working with Claude Code / Cursor / Codex

Bonus

• Experience working in a e-commerce company managing millions of SKUs
• Experience in React frontend, FastAPI/Django backend, PostgreSQL
• Experience with vector databases
• Experience with AI/ML or building AI-native product features
• Track record in open-source contributions

Location

• This position is remote, and requires some overlap with PST timezone twice a week.

Compensation

• 20LPA - 50LPA based on experience
