About the Role
As a Full Stack Intern at Medikloud, you will work alongside our experienced team, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of backend systems. This internship offers hands-on experience with databases, APIs, authentication, deployment workflows, and server-side logic in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale backend systems and microservices using Node.js.
- Develop and optimize REST/GraphQL APIs with strong focus on performance, security, and scalability.
- Work on database schema design, query optimization, and integrations with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Contribute to system architecture, load handling, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data caching mechanisms.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs into React/Next.js interfaces.
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and unit/integration testing.
Qualifications
- Pursuing B.Tech / M.Tech.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and backend frameworks (Node.js, Express.js, or Nest.js).
- Good understanding of database systems, API design, and system architecture principles.
- Familiar with Docker, cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or Vercel), and CI/CD workflows.
- Solid problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Replit, Windsurf, etc.) is a plus.
