Full Stack Engineer

Vedic Rishi is Indias leading provider of Astrology APIs and SaaS solutions, serving global B2B clients and millions of end users through partner platforms. We build robust, scalable, and innovative products that power astrology-based apps and services worldwide.

We are seeking a passionate Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications and APIs that deliver reliable, high-performance astrology services at scale. This role combines hands-on development, architecture, and problem-solvingperfect for engineers who thrive in a product-driven, fast-paced environment.

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and secure web applications, APIs, and backend services using modern frameworks (Node.js/Express, React/Vue/Angular, etc.).
• Own the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Business teams to deliver features that delight our B2B and enterprise clients.
• Optimize performance and scalability for APIs handling high concurrency and large datasets.
• Integrate third-party APIs (payment, messaging, analytics, etc.) and internal astrology microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the stack (frontend, backend, database, cloud).
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose technical solutions that improve our platform.

• 37 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency with backend development (Node.js/Express or Python/Django/Flask).
• Solid front-end experience (React.js preferred; Angular/Vue.js considered).
• Strong database skills: PostgreSQL (preferred), MongoDB, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building RESTful APIs; GraphQL is a plus.
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Experience with version control (Git), testing frameworks, and containerization (Docker).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Self-driven with excellent communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude.
  

• Previous work on large-scale SaaS platforms or B2B API products.
• Interest or experience in astrology, spirituality, or Indian culture.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Experience with serverless functions, caching strategies, or performance optimization.
