About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our core engineering team and build the foundational platform powering an enterprise-grade AI solution. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex backend challenges while working across the full stack.

You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend services, enterprise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, event-driven architectures, typed data models, replay APIs, and secure multi-tenant systems. You will also collaborate closely with AI/ML, Platform, and Frontend teams to deliver highly reliable, production-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI) or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Build and maintain enterprise-grade RAG pipelines, including document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, reranking, and serving.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and event sourcing principles.
• Develop append-only event logs and projection/replay APIs for auditability and traceability.
• Design robust, strongly typed data models for complex enterprise workflows.
• Build secure, scalable multi-tenant architectures with strict data isolation.
• Design and maintain versioned REST APIs and contract-first integrations.
• Integrate enterprise authentication using OIDC/SAML SSO.
• Build and maintain React-based user interfaces where required.
• Implement caching strategies using Redis to improve system performance.
• Build highly observable services with logging, metrics, tracing, and monitoring.
• Develop secure applications following authentication, authorization, and audit best practices.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate LLM-based capabilities into production systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and infrastructure automation.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Full Stack Software Engineering with strong backend expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI (or Node.js with TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building enterprise-scale Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Experience with embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and hybrid retrieval.
• Strong understanding of event sourcing, CQRS, or event-driven architecture.
• Production experience with Kafka or similar messaging/event streaming platforms.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and scalable database design.
• Experience designing REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications, and contract-first architectures.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience implementing enterprise authentication using OAuth2, OIDC, or SAML.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, reliability, and software engineering best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, ChromaDB, or Milvus.
• Experience with Server-Sent Events (SSE) or WebSockets.
• Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, AI agents, or LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Experience building collaborative editing platforms or document versioning systems.
• Familiarity with enterprise security reviews and multi-tenant architectures.
• Experience with schema evolution, distributed systems, and large-scale data pipelines.
