Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Full Stack Web Developer with strong expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). The ideal candidate should also be proficient in Next.js, Git/GitHub, and have a good understanding of web development best practices. Exposure to DevOps and deployment pipelines will be considered a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust web applications using the MERN stack.
- Build SSR and SSG applications using Next.js.
- Integrate front-end UI with backend APIs and databases.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable code and manage version control using Git & GitHub.
- Implement responsive and consistent UI using Material UI, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- (Bonus) Assist in basic DevOps tasks such as CI/CD setup, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployment (AWS, Vercel, etc.).
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Proficiency in Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript/ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Proficient in using Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Familiar with modern development tools, debugging, and performance tuning.
Proficiency with UI libraries/frameworks: Material UI, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to DevOps tools (CI/CD, Docker, Nginx, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Digital Ocean, GCP, AWS, Vercel, or Netlify.
- Basic understanding of database indexing, aggregation, and optimization.
- Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
