Full Stack Engineer

Role Description The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications that power Sigmatic's AI-driven platform for ambulatory surgery centers. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and integrating front-end interfaces and back-end services, implementing APIs, optimizing application performance, and ensuring reliability and security across the stack. The engineer will collaborate closely with product, data, and QA teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous deployment. This is a full-time remote role, requiring proactive communication, ownership of deliverables, and a strong focus on clean, maintainable code.
Qualifications

• Strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including server-side frameworks, APIs, databases, and integration with cloud services.
• Proficiency in Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks, responsive design, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and agile development practices.
• Ability to design scalable architectures, write clean and well-documented code, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills, effective remote collaboration, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with healthcare technology, AI-driven platforms, or data-intensive applications is a plus.
