The Role

You'll build the platform that runs 24/7 dispatch operations for enterprise logistics companies. This isn't a CRUD app. It's real-time optimisation, autonomous decision-making, and systems that can't go down.

What you'll work on:

- Real-time dispatch optimisation algorithms

- Autonomous agent systems that make decisions without human input

- APIs that integrate with legacy logistics software (TMSs, ERPs, telematics)

- Dashboards for dispatchers to monitor AI decisions and handle exceptions

- Data pipelines processing thousands of dispatch events per day

- Systems that predict demand and prevent inventory runouts

You'll own features end-to-end. Frontend to backend. Database to deployment.

Tech Stack:

- Backend: Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Pydantic

- Frontend: React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, Vite, Shadcn UI, React Query, Zustand

- Infrastructure: Azure/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes

- Real-time: WebSockets, event-driven architecture

Who You Are

- 3-5 years building production web applications

- Strong with Python or Node.js backend development

- Comfortable with React or similar frontend frameworks

- Can design APIs and databases

- Written code that handles scale and doesn't break

- Excited about AI but don't need to be an ML expert

Bonus points

- Built real-time or event-driven systems

- Worked with logistics, supply chain, or operations software

- Early-stage startup experience

- Deployed and maintained production systems
