Job Title: Full Stack Engineer

The Purpose of Your Role
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be an integral member of a dynamic team continuously improving our product offerings, looking for ways to automate the manual, all in support of our growing portfolio management technology portfolio.
- Suggest deployment patterns on AWS & practices improvements based on findings from past deployments and production issues, collaborate with DevOps team to implement these.
- Promote a DevOps culture, including forming relationships with other technical and business teams.
- Design effective monitoring / alerting (for conditions such as application-errors, high memory usage) and log aggregation approaches (to quickly access logs for troubleshooting or generate reports for trend analysis) to proactively notify business stakeholders of issues and communicate metrics, working closely with these stakeholders.
You'll have the opportunity to own entire features from concept to deployment working on multi-functional teams, bring ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn. - Understands the importance of cycle time and use CI/CD practices, tools to rapidly deploy changes to customers while minimizing risk using practices like A/B tests, blue-green deployments, and feature toggles
- Stays on top of Algorithms, Data Structures and Design Patterns and love the challenge of building highly scalable systems that can support thousands of transactions/sec.
- Have a mentality of test first development and are experienced in modern test frameworks. We believe in testing and that quality is everyone's job.
- Are data-driven and can measure, collect and use data to make decisions. We understand the value of intuition and the need to balance decisions accordingly.
- Have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in significant discussions.
The Skills You Bring
- Very strong in Javascript, Node, Vue.js and Angular Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools
- Very strong understanding of Java, spiring boot, microservices and API management.
- A strong understanding of Linux administration including Bash scripting
- Solid understanding of application development with microservice architectures.
- Must have an understanding of Test-Driven Development, building CI and CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Good knowledge of HTTP-based APIs, Networking, and how the internet works.
- Automation Tools/Frameworks
- Linux, Shell Scripting, Docker and AWS Cloud certified
