Project Description / Goal:
This role contributes to the design, development, and transition of the Cloud for Customer (C4C) solution into a fully Cloud Native Architecture. The project supports SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Service Cloud, and SAP Business ByDesign by delivering tools, controls, and infrastructure that enhance extensibility, flexibility, and in-app capabilities. The goal is to build and maintain cloud-native, scalable, high-performance applications while ensuring stability for existing global customers. The project aims to accelerate innovation through modern cloud technologies, improve customer experience, and ensure seamless, disruption-free operations across the C4C landscape.
Scope of Task:
- Design, implement, test, and maintain complex full-stack software components in a cloud-native environment.
- Develop applications using JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, Spring Boot, and microservice architecture.
- Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure to support deployment and operations.
- Collaborate with global agile teams to plan, design, and deliver features end-to-end.
- Analyze and optimize existing application components to support ongoing customer requirements.
- Contribute to the modernization of the tech stack while supporting the current product landscape.
- Participate in CI/CD processes and ensure high-quality code through reviews and testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack, ensuring stability and performance.
- Engage in documentation for features, architecture, and technical design.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Cloud & Open Source technologies intermediate
- Object-Oriented Concepts & Design Patterns intermediate
- JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, Spring Boot intermediate
- Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker intermediate
- Database knowledge (HANA, MongoDB, Postgres), JSON intermediate
- Git, CI/CD pipelines basic to intermediate
- Test-Driven Development (TDD) basic
- Knowledge of ABAP OO, OData, SOA services basic
- Understanding of cloud-native principles & distributed systems basic to intermediate
- Strong communication, collaboration, and learning mindset advanced
