We are looking for a
highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with
strong backend expertise and
solid frontend capabilities. The ideal candidate enjoys owning features end-to-end, working with large-scale textual data, and experimenting with GenAI-driven use cases. You'll collaborate closely with product, AI, and DevOps teams to build scalable, modern applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Write efficient, asynchronous code using Async/Await
- Work extensively with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, especially for handling large volumes of textual data
- Design schemas, write optimised queries and implement PL/pgSQL stored procedures in PostgreSQL
- Build responsive and performant frontend applications using React, TypeScript and modern state management
- Collaborate on system design, API contracts, and data flow across services
- Deploy, monitor and maintain services with a high level of ownership
- Experiment with and integrate GenAI capabilities into real-world applications
Required Skills
Backend (Strong)
- Proficient in Python
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI
- Strong understanding of Async/Await and asynchronous programming
- Deep working knowledge of MongoDB
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL
- Query optimisation
- Handling large-scale textual data
- PL/pgSQL and stored procedures
Frontend
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript
- TypeScript (mandatory)
- Experience with React
- State management using Redux Toolkit (RTK)
- Styling with Tailwind CSS
DevOps (Optional But Preferred Ownership Mindset)
Familiarity with AWS services:
- S3, EC2, ECS, ECR
- Load Balancers
- EventBridge
- Basic understanding of networking concepts:
- VPCs, Subnets
- Public vs Private networks
GenAI Experience
- Ability to effectively use GenAI Studio features such as:
- Knowledge Bases (KB)
- Agents
- Tool Calls
- Hands-on experience working with raw LLM APIs (e.g., Claude)
- Comfortable being evaluated via a practical assignment if required
Good to Have
- Experience building AI-powered chat or assistant use cases
- Understanding of hybrid search techniques
- Experience using pgvector or vector databases
- Exposure to semantic search, embeddings, or RAG-based systems
