Role Description
CarbonMint is looking for a passionate and skilled Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Javascript, TypeScript and Next.js to take our AgriOS to the next level. You'll work across the stack from building responsive user interfaces to designing robust backend APIs helping us deliver performant, scalable, and maintainable products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications using Next.js, TypeScript, and React.
- Build backend APIs and microservices using NextJS integrating exciting technologies such as IoT, Blockchain, Drones, weather stations and AI.
- Collaborate with field personnel, farmers, other developers and tech partners to translate requirements into high-quality code.
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Integrate with third-party APIs and internal services for data exchange and automation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, and React. React Native Experience is required.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with database systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Ability to leverage AI for development methodologies
Nice to Have
- Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Slenium).
- Prior experience in AgriTech, ClimateTech, or Data Platforms
