Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL database solutions, with a focus on analytics and reporting.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Write efficient SQL and PL/pgSQL code, including functions, procedures, and complex queries.
Tune performance for large datasets and high-volume workloads.
Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation.
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
Stay updated on PostgreSQL features and best practices for analytics and transactional systems.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL for analytics and transactional workloads.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL for developing functions, procedures, and performance-optimized queries.
Experience in data modeling for analytical reporting and large-scale datasets.
Strong skills in query performance tuning, indexing strategies, and troubleshooting slow-running queries.
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for database designs, processes, and standards.
