As we scale our D2C and e-commerce ecosystem, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Shopify development and CRM systems who can help build scalable digital infrastructure for the business.

Role Overview

The Full Stack Developer Shopify & CRM Specialist will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining Herbalmax's Shopify ecosystem and CRM infrastructure.

This role involves developing custom Shopify solutions, building API integrations, and creating scalable backend systems to support marketing, operations, and customer management.

You will work closely with marketing, growth, and operations teams to ensure seamless integrations, automation, and performance optimization across our digital platforms.

What You'll Be Responsible For

1. Shopify Development

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes and applications.
• Optimize Shopify store performance, speed, and user experience.
• Implement advanced checkout, subscription, and conversion optimization features.
• Manage Shopify integrations with third-party apps and services.

2. API Development & System Integrations

• Design and develop custom APIs for internal and third-party integrations.
• Integrate Shopify with tools such as payment gateways, logistics systems, marketing platforms, and ERP solutions.
• Build and maintain REST and GraphQL API connections for data flow and automation.

3. CRM Development & Customization

• Build or customize a CRM system tailored to business operations.
• Implement features for customer data management, lead tracking, and automation workflows.
• Ensure seamless integration between CRM, marketing tools, and the Shopify ecosystem.

4. Backend Architecture & Database Management

• Design scalable backend systems and application architecture.
• Manage and optimize database structures and data flow.
• Ensure high system reliability, performance, and maintainability.

5. Performance Optimization & Security

• Improve website speed, scalability, and system performance.
• Ensure secure data handling and compliance with best security practices.
• Implement automation workflows and webhook-based integrations.

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 36 years of experience in Full Stack Development, preferably in Shopify-based e-commerce environments.

Core Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Shopify development (Liquid, Shopify APIs, Shopify Plus preferred)
• Backend development experience with Node.js / PHP / Python
• Hands-on experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with database management (MySQL / MongoDB)
• Experience building or customizing CRM systems

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Experience with automation tools and webhook integrations
• Familiarity with GA4, Meta Pixel, and tracking implementation
• Experience integrating marketing and analytics tools with Shopify

Preferred Experience

Candidates with the following experience will be highly preferred:

• Working with D2C or high-growth e-commerce brands
• Experience with subscription-based e-commerce models
• Understanding of conversion funnels and performance marketing integrations
