Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer / Lead with 510 years of experience to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. This role blends hands-on full stack development with technical leadership, including mentoring developers and contributing to architectural decisions.
You will work on real-time, cloud-native systems that integrate with IoT devices and sensors for critical applications. The platform enables real-time control, monitoring, dashboards, and alerting through secure web, mobile, and cloud solutions. Reliability, availability, and compliance are key design considerations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using Python and Golang for backend services and React.js for frontend development.
- Build cloud-native microservices and REST APIs for real-time monitoring, control, and alerting systems.
- Develop intuitive web dashboards and applications for real-time visualization, alerts, emergency messaging, and scheduled events.
- Engineer real-time data pipelines and communication systems using technologies such as Kafka, REST APIs, MQTT, WebRTC, or SIP where applicable.
- Implement high-availability, fault-tolerant architectures, including failover mechanisms, device heartbeat monitoring, and telemetry analytics.
- Design, manage, and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity.
Cloud, Data & Platforms
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and other cloud-native components.
- Integrate and work with big data and streaming platforms, including Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Apache Kafka.
- Build and maintain logging, monitoring, and observability solutions using the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Contribute to or integrate machine learning models (using TensorFlow) to enhance system intelligence and analytics where required.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, promoting best practices and code quality.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, performance, and security guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, hardware/embedded teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, technical planning, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 510 years of professional experience in full stack software development.
- Education: BE / BTech / MTech / MCA (Computer Science or related field).
- Backend: Strong hands-on experience with Python and Golang.
- Frontend: Proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem (Hooks, Redux, etc.).
- APIs & Microservices: Experience building scalable RESTful services and microservice-based systems.
- Databases: Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Cloud: Solid understanding of AWS and cloud-native application development.
- Big Data & Streaming: Practical experience with Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Apache Kafka.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on real-time systems, IoT-integrated platforms, or mission-critical applications.
- Exposure to Agentic AI systems applied to software development or system optimization.
- Prior experience mentoring developers or acting as a technical lead on projects.
