Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Node.js for backend development. The role involves building and maintaining scalable, high-performance server-side applications, APIs, and databases.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of React.js / Next.js is preferred, as the role is primarily backend-focused with limited frontend involvement.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development (Primary Focus) :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Node.js server-side applications
- Build, test, and maintain RESTful APIs
- Implement API rate limiting, throttling, and request validation to ensure scalability and security
- Manage server-side logic, authentication, authorization, and security mechanisms
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Implement and manage background jobs, queues, and schedulers
- Integrate and maintain third-party services and APIs
- Identify and mitigate bot traffic, DDoS patterns, and malicious requests
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js or Fastify
- Solid understanding of API design, backend architecture, and system design
- Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience with authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, sessions)
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
- Basic to intermediate working knowledge of React.js / Next.js
- Experience with Redis and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
Good To Have
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Cloud platform exposure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) concepts
