Role Overview
This is not a typical Full Stack Developer role.
We are looking for someone who can build, integrate systems, lead technical execution, and solve problems end-to-end.
AI experience is not mandatory, but you must be keen to learn and work with AI tools and cloud technologies like AWS.
Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Development
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack
- Work with:
- React.js (Frontend)
- Node.js & Express.js (Backend)
- MongoDB & DynamoDB (Databases)
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues
Integrations & Solution Building
- Design and implement API integrations and third-party system connections
- Build end-to-end workflows across multiple platforms
- Work on automation and scalable backend integrations
- Translate business needs into practical technical solutions
Cloud & AI Exposure
- Work with AWS cloud services, including:
- DynamoDB
- AWS (AI integrations)
- Learn and implement:
- AI-based workflows
- Automation systems
- Apply a learning mindset towards AI and emerging technologies
Leadership & Ownership
- Take end-to-end ownership of technical delivery
- Guide and mentor team
- Participate in architecture decisions and planning
- Ensure quality, timelines, and accountability
Client & Delivery Management
- Work closely with internal teams and Australian clients
- Convert requirements into technical tasks and delivery plans
- Communicate updates, risks, and progress clearly
- Ensure high-quality and timely project delivery
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in:
- JavaScript & TypeScript
- MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
- REST API development & integrations
- Experience with:
- MongoDB & DynamoDB
- Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Understanding of scalable architecture and backend systems
Mindset & Approach (Critical)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Solution-oriented thinking (not just coding tasks)
