Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our team remotely from India. This is a full-time, remote role responsible for developing and maintaining both backend and frontend components of business applications.

You will work closely with product owners, functional consultants, and clients to translate business needs into reliable, well-built software solutions, primarily for trading and SME sectors. The ideal candidate is comfortable building both the systems behind a product and the features that users interact with.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, multi-tenant web applications using FastAPI (Python) on the backend and React with TypeScript / JavaScript on the frontend.
• Build and maintain user-facing features with React, TypeScript / JavaScript (ES6+), Tailwind CSS, and semantic HTML, ensuring responsive and accessible UI
• Design and implement robust database models and business logic
• Develop and integrate REST APIs with third-party services
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing applications for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver thoughtful technical solutions
• Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices
• Ensure applications are secure, reliable, and optimised for production environments
• Participate in technical discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer
• Strong proficiency in Python programming
• Solid experience with TypeScript /JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS
• Experience working on SaaS products (development and scaling)
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar)
• Experience with Python backend frameworks (FastAPI strongly preferred, Django or Flask acceptable with willingness to switch)
• Strong understanding of REST API design (OpenAPI/Swagger), third-party integrations, and webhook handling with idempotency.
• Solid working knowledge of PostgreSQL, schema design, indexing, and query optimisation under defined query-count budgets.
• Experience working in Linux-based environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Hands-on experience writing automated tests with pytest (backend) and Playwright (end-to-end)
