Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our software team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications from concept to production. This role requires hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle, including frontend, backend, database, and cloud deployment.

This role is for ABB Robotics based out of Bangalore, India.

You are mainly accountable for:

  • Design and develop end-to-end web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
  • Develop backend services using Python, and related frameworks.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
  • Implement cloud-native solutions using platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Qualification of the role:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of hands‑on experience in software development.
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to production support.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred AWS or GCP acceptable).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
