Title: Full Stack Developer (Next.js + Node.js)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team and help build this ecosystem from the ground up. You will work on both frontend (Next.js) and backend (Node.js), developing APIs, portals, and integrations that power multiple modules.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain website, CRM, LMS, recruitment portal, and alumni modules.
- Build modular APIs to support all systems with a single source of truth database.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and management to deliver functional, user-friendly solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and scalability across the platform.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience with Next.js and Node.js (Express/NestJS).
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Hands-on experience with full stack development, REST/GraphQL APIs, and modular system design.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and cloud hosting (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
- Experience working with PHP, Laravel, or CodeIgniter in the past and transitioned to a modern JavaScript stack (MERN/Next.js + Node.js).
- Experience with MongoDB or hybrid database architectures.
- Understanding of performance optimization, caching (Redis), and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of containerization, or server management and Deployments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Website & Platform Development
- Maintain and extend corporate and academic sites (content, features, modules).
- Develop new site features, landing pages, dashboards, and dynamic content components.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device responsiveness.
- Optimize performance and accessibility across platforms.
2. Full Stack Application Work
- Build API services and integrate third-party APIs (e.g., CRM, analytics, LMS, payment gateways).
- Develop secure backend logic for portals, forms, integrations, and internal tools.
- Architect database schemas and ensure efficient queries for student/lead data.
- Lead development on custom application modules and micro-services.
3. CMS & Content Tech
- Customize and extend CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress themes/plugins, content workflows).
- Implement SEO and performance improvements linked to technical architecture.
- Support editorial and marketing teams with tooling and templates.
4. Code Quality & Deployment
- Write maintainable, tested code across frontend and backend.
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and deployment cycles.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide production support/monitoring.
5. Collaboration
- Work with designers, product, admissions, and academic teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Communicate tech decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Experience with LMS, CRM, or enterprise web applications.
