Frontend Engineer -Shopify

• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to translate business goals into effective Shopify solutions.
• Develop and customize Shopify themes, templates, and plugins to create visually appealing and functional online stores.
• Design and develop component-based frameworks to ensure code reusability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Implement customer loyalty strategies, such as rewards programs and referral systems, to enhance customer engagement and retention.
• Optimize UX design elements, ensuring intuitive navigation and a seamless user experience.
• Stay updated on the latest Shopify development trends, coding techniques, and UX design best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain website stability and reliability.
• Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and multi-browser compatibility.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, including expertise in theming, custom app development, and API integration.
• Strong understanding of customer loyalty strategies and experience implementing loyalty programs.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and liquid templating language.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills..
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and project management tools like Jira, Trello or Asana.

Must haves:

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Github (or any other VCS), JQuery, and liquid templating language.
• Experience in building scalable and optimized websites within deadlines.
• Capable of designing and implementing component-based frameworks for code reusability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and promptly resolving technical issues for website stability.
• Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and multi-browser compatibility.
• Ability to create animations or work with popular animation libraries.

Good to have:

• Knowledge of React, Storybook, and Shopify hydrogen/Headless e-commerce.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Understanding of popular animation tools such as Lottie & Rive.

Bonus points

• Knowledge of - React, Storybook and Shopify hydrogen / Headless e-commerce is a plus
