Position Overview

We are looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to join our Bangalore team and help build production-grade features on our marketing research platform. You will work closely with senior engineers, PMs, and designers to deliver polished, performant user interfaces. This is a hybrid role with meaningful ownership and room to grow.

Role & Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-grade frontend features using TypeScript, React, and Next.js under guidance from senior engineers.

• Contribute to frontend architecture discussions around state management, API integration, and component design patterns.

• Write well-tested, reviewed code and participate actively in the CI/CD pipeline and release process using GitHub Actions.

• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into polished, accessible user interfaces.

• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with peers, and adopt best practices around testing and accessibility.

• Help monitor frontend performance in production and flag issues for continuous improvement.

Must Have Criteria

• 3–5 years of overall frontend engineering experience, with 2+ years building production applications.

• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js — used in a live production environment.

• Experience consuming GraphQL APIs from a frontend application.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions.

• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

• Experience writing automated tests (unit or integration) as part of a team engineering workflow.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Nx monorepo and Storybook for component-driven development workflows.

• Exposure to internationalisation (i18n) in multi-language or multi-region web applications.

• Familiarity with frontend observability or performance monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, Datadog RUM).

• Awareness of WCAG accessibility guidelines and inclusive UI practices.
