Job Summary
Frontend Developer with 13 years of experience in building responsive, high-performance web applications using ReactJS. The role involves close collaboration with backend developers developing Java Spring Boot services, with integration via RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate is strong in modern JavaScript, frontend architecture, and UI performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend Development: Build and maintain reusable, responsive UIs using ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS3.
- API Integration: Consume and handle RESTful APIs from backends with robust error handling.
- Component Architecture: Implement modular components and manage application state using Redux or Context API.
- Performance & Testing: Optimize frontend performance and ensure quality through testing (Jest, React Testing Library).
- Collaboration & Delivery: Work closely with designers, QA, and backend developers to deliver features end-to-end.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code adhering to accessibility, security, and coding standards.
- Version Control: Manage code with Git and participate in peer reviews.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong ReactJS and JavaScript (ES6+) skills
- Experience in REST API integration, ideally with RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in CSS (SCSS/LESS), responsive design, and frameworks (Material UI, Tailwind, Bootstrap)
- Familiar with build tools like Webpack or Babel
- Version control using Git
- Experience with testing tools like Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Use of AI tools such as Cursor
Nice to Have
- TypeScript experience
- Exposure to Figma or design tools
- Playwright for automation testing
- Exposure to payments domain.
