Ekko is hiring a midsenior Frontend Developer to work on medical, AI-powered applications. This role focuses on building frontend systems for agentic AI workflows used in healthcare and clinical contexts.

What you'll work on

Developing frontend applications for medical and healthcare AI systems

Building UIs for multi-step, agent-driven workflows used by clinicians and medical teams

Designing interfaces for human-in-the-loop AI interactions

Visualizing AI outputs, task progress, and system states

Integrating frontend applications with LLM-based medical backends

Must-have skills

Strong experience with React / Next.js and TypeScript

Solid frontend fundamentals (state management, performance, UX)

Experience integrating complex, asynchronous APIs

Understanding or hands-on exposure to Agentic AI concepts:

Multi-step workflows

Tool-using or goal-driven agents

State, memory, and task progression

Ability to translate complex AI behavior into clear, usable medical UIs

Good to have

Experience with real-time UI (streaming, WebSockets, SSE)

Exposure to medical, healthcare, or regulated domains

Experience building dashboards, workflows, or data-heavy interfaces

Familiarity with accessibility and design systems
