About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and customizing applications on the ServiceNow platform to enhance our clients IT service management capabilities. The ideal candidate will have exclusive experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong understanding of core modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog. This position requires a proactive individual who can work onsite in our Bangalore office, contributing to various projects that involve system customization, integration, and administration. The role is offered on a contractual basis for six months, with potential for extension based on project requirements and performance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4+ years of dedicated ServiceNow development experience. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules, CMDB, HRSD, and CSM. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML is essential, along with a deep understanding of GlideRecord, GlideAjax, and g_scratchpad. Experience with REST and SOAP API integrations is mandatory, as is familiarity with Flow Designer, Studio IDE, and Update Sets. Certifications such as ServiceNow CSA are highly preferred, with additional certifications like CAD or CIS considered a plus. Candidates should have a proven track record of working exclusively on ServiceNow projects and be available for immediate joining or serving a notice period.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform to meet client requirements and improve service delivery.
- Work on core modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Develop workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions to automate processes and enhance user experience.
- Build comprehensive reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor system performance and support decision-making.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems through REST and SOAP APIs to enable smooth data exchange and process automation.
- Handle system administration tasks such as managing ACLs, performing upgrades, applying patches, and monitoring system health to ensure optimal platform performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain documentation of customizations, integrations, and configurations for future reference and compliance purposes.
