About the RoleWe're looking for a strong MERN Stack Developer who is deeply skilled in React.js, Next.js, and Node.js, with hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance applications. The role requires someone who can independently own modules, optimize existing architecture, and work closely with product and design teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop high-quality front-end experiences using React.js and Next.js.
- Build and maintain robust backend services using Node.js + Express.
- Design RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.
- Optimize application performance across both server and client.
- Work with MongoDB for schema design, queries, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with product, UI/UX, and engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end.
- Maintain clean, reusable code with strong documentation.
- Ensure best practices around version control, CI/CD, and deployment.
Required Skills- Strong hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Deep understanding of SSR, SSG, ISR, routing, and rendering patterns in Next.js.
- Experience with Redux / Zustand / Context API for state management.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript is a plus.
- Expertise in creating scalable backend APIs using Node.js.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Good understanding of build tools, package managers, and version control (Git).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
- Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Exposure to performance monitoring tools like Lighthouse, New Relic, or Sentry.
- Ability to handle end-to-end delivery with minimal supervision.
