Frontend Developer

Summary

Responsible for building the Angular 21 UI for both the internal RFQ Manager dashboard and the Supplier Portal. Working from UI mockups and OpenAPI API specs, this role involves implementing reactive forms, data binding, state management, and Okta SSO integration. The Supplier Portal is the user-facing deliverable — supplier experience drives adoption and December go-live success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build RFQ Manager Dashboard components for RFQ creation, item selection, supplier invites, quote review, BAFO, closure, and export.
• Build Supplier Portal with Okta login, RFQ view, drawing display, quote submission form, and quote history.
• Implement responsive design, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, Wabtec branding, loading states, and error feedback.
• Use Angular services and RxJS for authentication, RFQ caching, form state, and error handling.
• Consume REST endpoints using HttpClient with interceptors, error handling, and async operations.
• Write unit tests (Jasmine, &ge80% coverage) and E2E tests (Cypress/Playwright).
• Implement bundle optimization, lazy loading, image optimization, and CloudWatch metrics monitoring.

Required Skills:

• 6 years of Angular development (v14).
• Expertise in Angular 21 / TypeScript, RxJS, and reactive forms.
• Proficiency in HTML5 / CSS3 / SCSS, responsive design, REST API consumption, HttpClient, and error handling.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 / Okta integration testing with Jasmine/Karma, E2E frameworks.
• Familiarity with Git workflow, CI/CD pipeline usage, and web accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA).

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with Material Design or similar component library.
• Knowledge of state management (NgRx, Akita).
• Skills in performance profiling and optimization.
• Experience with E2E testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright).
