Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, code, and maintain web services and applications that directly provide core capabilities for company
Collaborate in an empowered engineering team to develop extensible technical solutions for complex RegTech problems
Work with product management to formulate innovative solutions to improve customer success
Make quantifiable improvements on engineering process, quality, and efficiency through automation, proper code abstraction, and monitoring

Requirements:

5-10 years of professional experience programming modern web applications in JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, and HTML
7+ years of professional experience on any web framework such as React
7+ years of professional experience on NodeJS
Rich experience in system design for high traffic volume applications
Solid understanding of developing APIs and micro-services architecture
Strong skills in writing testable code and high-quality tests
Experience in optimizing web applications for speed and performance, including knowledge of techniques like lazy loading and code splitting.
Familiarity with security considerations for web applications, including knowledge of common vulnerabilities (like XSS, CSRF) and how to mitigate them
Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in web development (like serverless architecture, Module federation) to keep the technology stack modern
Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD systems
Familiarity with developing efficient queries and designing schemas for relational databases
Inclusive mindset to collaborate effectively in a diverse team
Experience working in an Agile team, familiarity with Agile best practices, and ability to manage individual task deliverables
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
