About the Role:

Reporting to the development Team Leader, the candidate will bring a valuable collaboration in the system architecture, design pattern, programming and testing of the content consumption services.

We're looking for a candidate with strong technical leadership, a passion for software quality, and a solid understanding of cloud deployment best practices. The ideal candidate should also be committed to writing clean, maintainable, and high-performance code.

In collaboration with other team members, the candidate will contribute to challenging projects involving the integration of advanced web technologies. They will take part in the design, analysis, and development of features for a state-of-the-art front-end web platform. Content consumption is a key component of the content platform, serving as the foundation for many of the products developed at Cyncly.

Vision

Working with the various development teams from Cyncly organization and partners based on a subscription model, the content consumption team are the main actors responsible for connecting the various applications with the content.

They represent the ambassador of the unified content platform in terms of consuming content, exposing our largest repository of unified catalogs for our various end-to-end software solutions. They provide rich quality content to empower applications use cases.

Mission

Deliver high quality interfaces exposing APIs, SDKs, and documentation.

The team provides high level standards of Interface, documentation, and support integration of the content platform. They are responsible for making the content platform the foundation for the various applications based on APIs and SDKs, providing examples and support.

The team is responsible for driving the core business which defines how the content is assembled and exposed to consumer applications.

Content resolution is driven by an advanced configuration engine which defines how items get resolved and assembled using formulas and dynamic expressions to support all the different industry context.

For graphical representation, the configuration engine can be coupled with a parametric geometry engine which allows dynamic geometry resolution along with advanced material mapping definition.

While supporting the various teams, they collect feedback on additional needs and improvements to continuously improve the content platform to always be the bleeding edge as a content provider.

Key Position Responsibilities Include:

• Build modern front-end solution with best practices.
• Build reusable front-end code and libraries for future use.
• Search for the best applicable process or algorithms.
• Participate in stress tests, load tests, performance tests, making recommendations to improve performance and scalability.
• Prepare software packages and documentation for deployment that adhere to the defined standard deployment policies.
• Be highly responsive to critical production issues providing timely and effective solutions.
• Collaborate to help team members in the development lifecycle.
• Perform the duties according to timelines.
• Participate in team meetings.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in web programming.
• Expert knowledge of typescript, DOM, HTML, CSS.
• Proven expertise in developing scalable and high-quality applications using ReactJS.
• Experience with software source code management (GIT).
• Experience with front end build system (e.g.: Webpack, Vite).
• Proficiency at doing code review of peers.
• Experience with unit test framework (e.g.: Jest, Vitest)
• Experience in designing the architecture of large-scale front-end projects, with a strong focus on security, reliability, and performance.
• Understanding of 3D geometries, including their representation, manipulation, and integration within web or software applications.
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure (Azure) is good to have.
• Orchestration pattern using Azure is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) considered an asset.
• Knowledge of NodeJS (and Electron, considered as an asset).
• Development experience in Microsoft development environment is a plus.
