Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Steel Detailer role located in Chennai. The Steel Detailer will be responsible for creating detailed architectural and structural drawings, including steel detailing, shop drawings, rebar detailing, and working with steel structures. Daily tasks include interpreting project specifications, liaising with engineers, and delivering accurate, high-quality designs in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Experience in Steel Detailing and working with Steel Structures
- Proficiency in creating accurate Shop Drawings and Architectural Drawings
- Knowledge and expertise in Rebar and other structural detailing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar tools)
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to work in a collaborative on-site environment
- Experience in the steel industry or construction industry is a plus
