Our flagship product Syook InSite allows businesses to visualize their operations, providing information that can easily translate into measurable impact on the bottom-line. InSite is an Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) solution that uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons to generate highly-accurate location data of all your resources (both assets and people), at much lower costs than comparable technologies. The result: Quick RoI and Improved Operational Performance. It's Industry 4.0, ready for deployment!

Role overview

First and foremost, we're looking for people who are excited about what we're doing -- you don't need to know anything about IoT, but should be excited to learn. We're building in an entirely new space, so you'll be able to use creativity to help us solve problems and deliver user delight.

As a Graphic design intern, your role is to work closely with the Senior Designer and other department heads to help create visual designs including Sales Collaterals, Social Media Posts, Brochures, Emails/Newsletters, Presentations, Company Website pages, Event designs, Product Mock-ups, Webinars, and other Campaigns using Photo Imagery, Conceptual Illustrations & Vector-based Imagery, Simple Animations, Videos, Process Diagrams, Infographics, Iconography, Data Visualization to create and deliver a superior customer experience. You will get to work with various teams to create designs which will help us to translate industry problems into solutions through effective visual communication. You will contribute your vision to implement next-gen visual design solutions to create customer delight and deliver high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and execute creative design tasks ranging from Sales & Marketing Collateral, Website Design, Social Media Posts, Emails/Newsletters, Full-scale Branding Campaigns and more.

High ownership of the projects assigned and willingness to learn

Work with the Founders, Sales team, Product managers and Senior designer to drive the end-to-end design experience of the brand and craft delightful designs.

Contribute to the design system by helping refine, maintain, and enforce the design guidelines and strategies.

Web Page and landing page design: design attractive creatives for our web pages and product suites in line with our design philosophy

Collaborate with the senior designer to establish and implement design guidelines, standards, and deliver best practices.

Planning and aligning design production pipeline using project management tools, essential documentation and necessary reporting. (Will be walked through)

Design in multiple media formats: Photo Imagery, Illustration And Vector-based Imagery, Simple Animations, Videos.

Work with cross-functional teams like marketing, sales, product, operations and HR departments with short delivery TATs

Pitch unique ideas for design projects.

Work independently and collaboratively to bring projects to completion, with a keen eye to detail

Ideal Candidate

Must be flexible, independent and a self-starter who can work with little supervision.

Bachelor's degree (pursuing/completed) or equivalent professional experience.

An online portfolio or samples of work showcasing your stunning aesthetic sense that allows us to understand your design skills is a must.

0 to 1+ years of intern experience in related fields.

Exposure across graphic design tools Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, Figma, Canva, iMovie and other popular softwares and more.

Web designing tools like Wix is a great delight. (Since we run our website on Wix only)

Commitment and dedication towards successful completion of given tasks with high design precision and clean output.

Exceptional sense of typography, imagery, colors, composition and visual layouts.

Attention to detail is a must. We love our designers to be pixel perfect crazy.

Ability to gracefully defend your design decisions to executive management.

Demonstrates an understanding of visual hierarchy.

Some Experience or at least a good knowledge in making UI mockups, high fidelity screens for web and mobile applications would be an addon.

Most importantly, you're the kind of person who is friendly, approachable, ready to help others and personally driven to put your best foot forward.

Joining our team (Interview process)

1. Initial Screening (Phone/Video Call)

We will connect with you on a 15-20 minute call and won't need to prepare anything in advance. In this call we will be discussing,

Your background and experience.

An overview of your portfolio and previous work.

Your interest in the role and our company.

Your availability and salary expectations.

Based on this discussion, you will receive a design task to examine your creative approach, ideation skills and design thinking abilities. Please submit the assignment within the given time frame.

2. Technical Round

If your task is all on point, we will schedule a round with the Senior designer to discuss your thought process in the making of the task and to explain the why of it. We will also ask furthermore questions to analyze and check if you'd fit best for the role.

You will also get to understand what your role is all about and how you can grow with us.

3. Final Round

If you reach this stage, it automatically means that we're convinced of your technical skills. However, in this round we will still evaluate and understand what you bring to the table apart from your technical skills in terms of initiatives, personality, and a certain entrepreneurial mindset

We will also cover career growth opportunities, company culture, and answer any final queries.

4. Offer & Onboarding

If selected, you will receive a formal job offer detailing compensation and job responsibilities.

Once accepted, your onboarding process will begin, including:

Gaining access to design tools and platforms.

Meeting team members and understanding work processes.

Receiving an initial design brief and first project assignment.
