French trainer (Online)

Class schedule: 3 days a week, 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM IST

Experience: Freshers/1+ years of teaching or training preferred. Freshers with strong language skills may apply.

About the role

You will train students and working professionals in French, from beginner (A1) through intermediate levels, using Malayalam to explain grammar, pronunciation and concepts clearly where needed. You will also help learners prepare for DELF/DALF exams and practical communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live online French classes (3 sessions per week, 6:00 to 8:30 AM)
• Use Malayalam to simplify difficult concepts for beginners
• Prepare lesson plans, practice material, assignments and mock tests
• Track learner progress and give regular feedback
• Prepare students for DELF/DALF or other certification exams
• Run spoken French practice and conversation activities

Requirements

• Fluent in French and Malayalam (spoken and written); working English is a plus
• DELF B2 / DALF C1 or higher, or a degree/diploma in French (BA/MA French, Alliance Française certification, or equivalent)
• Clear pronunciation and strong communication skills
• Patient, student-friendly teaching approach
• Comfortable with Zoom, Google Meet or similar tools
• Stable internet connection, a laptop/PC, and a quiet space for early-morning classes
• Available for the 6:00 to 8:30 AM slot on class days

Good to have

• Prior experience as a French trainer or tutor
• Teaching certification such as DAEFLE or FLE
• Experience with job-oriented French (e.g., for Canada/Europe migration or corporate needs)
