French Trainer

As a French Fluency Trainer, you will conduct engaging, interactive online sessions focused primarily on French speaking and real-life communication.

You will work with learners at beginner to intermediate levels and help them develop the confidence to understand and communicate in French in practical situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live, interactive French speaking and fluency classes.
• Create a comfortable environment where students actively speak French.
• Focus on conversation practice, pronunciation, vocabulary, listening, and practical communication.
• Conduct role-plays, discussions, speaking activities, and real-life conversation exercises.
• Identify individual speaking difficulties and provide personalized feedback.
• Correct pronunciation, grammar, sentence formation, and common speaking mistakes.
• Track learner progress and provide regular feedback.
• Adapt teaching methods according to the learner's level and learning needs.
• Follow the House of Polyglots curriculum while adding relevant real-world conversation activities.
• Encourage students to use French consistently during and beyond live sessions.
• Collaborate with the academic team to continuously improve the learning experience.

What We're Looking For

• Strong spoken and written French proficiency.
• Excellent pronunciation and ability to demonstrate natural French conversation.
• Strong command of English for explaining concepts and communicating with learners.
• Previous experience teaching French or conducting language speaking sessions.
• Strong understanding of French grammar, pronunciation, sentence formation, and everyday vocabulary.
• Ability to teach beginners patiently and build their confidence step by step.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A learner-first approach with the ability to make classes engaging and interactive.
• Comfortable conducting classes through Zoom, Google Meet, or similar online platforms.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for online teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or certification in French, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
• DELF / DALF / TCF / TEF certification is an advantage.
• Experience in online French teaching or French fluency training.
• Experience preparing students for French-speaking environments, study abroad, careers, or language examinations.
