Job Summary
We're seeking aFreelance Videographerwho is visually intuitive, technically sound, and creatively aligned with our storytelling approach. You should have hands-on experience in capturing both candid and styled momentsbe it fashion shoots, product reels, interior walkthroughs, or editorial concepts. If you can translate creative briefs into rich, cinematic footage that speaks to brand values, we'd love to work with you on a project-to-project basis.
Responsibilities as a Freelance Videographer:
- On-Site Shoots: Capture high-quality footage across fashion, product, interior, or editorial shoots. Ensure composition, lighting, and movement align with the project brief.
- Cinematography: Apply a creative eye for framing, lighting, and camera movement (both handheld and stabilized) to enhance storytelling.
- Technical Setup: Handle camera, lighting, and basic audio equipment independently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the creative director and editor to ensure shoot coverage matches the intended narrative and aesthetic.
- Adaptability: Be prepared for both stylized and run-and-gun setups depending on project type.
- Visual Consistency: Ensure footage aligns with the brand's clean, modern, and expressive visual language.
- File Handover: Deliver footage in an organized structure for post-production.
Requirements
- 25 years of freelance videography experience in fashion, product, commercial, or lifestyle work (portfolio is mandatory).
- Proficiency in operating DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, gimbals, and basic audio gear.
- Strong sense of lighting, composition, and motion framing.
- Ability to interpret and adapt to creative briefs quickly.
- Familiarity with color temperatures, shooting formats, and frame rates.
- Experience working with production or editorial teams.
- Basic understanding of post-production workflow (editing knowledge is a bonus).
- Flexible with weekday or occasional weekend shoot dates.
