Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation, is seeking an experienced Supplier Development Manager to support their supply chain and procurement teams by driving supplier performance improvements and transforming operational data into actionable insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure alignment with business objectives, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Drive supplier performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Procurement).
- Lead the implementation and monitoring of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) /PPAP processes for new product developments.
- Facilitate and review Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to proactively identify and mitigate risks in design and processes.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and innovation within the supply base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and develop corrective action plans.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier performance metrics and provide insights for strategic sourcing decisions.

Skills Required
- Certification in Process Auditor or other quality frameworks.
- Experience with ERP and supplier management tools.
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949 or ISO standards.
