Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Oracle E-Business Suite Functional Consultant with extensive experience in Order Management, Oracle Configurator, and Finance & Supply Chain modules. The consultant will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing key Oracle EBS modules, including OM, Configurator, Shipping, Inventory, BOM, WIP, AR, AP, and GL.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in requirements gathering, BR-100 documentation, and functional specifications writing for RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflow). The role also involves supporting SIT and UAT activities and working closely with both business stakeholders and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oracle EBS Configuration for Order Management (OM), Oracle Configurator, Shipping, Inventory, WIP, BOM, AR, AP, and GL modules
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and document functional specifications
- Configure and set up Oracle Configurator (modeling, rules, UI)
- Develop BR-100 and other relevant functional documentation
- Design, configure, and test shipping and inventory processes including setups, order execution, and reservations
- Support SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities, ensuring proper alignment with business needs
- Provide functional guidance and troubleshooting support during implementation and post-go-live phases
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and customization as required
- Lead meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) functional consulting experience, with a focus on Order Management, Oracle Configurator, and related modules
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Configurator, including modeling, rules, and UI customization
- In-depth knowledge of Order Management (OM) and related modules (Shipping, Inventory, BOM, WIP, AR, AP, GL)
- Strong functional configuration and setup expertise across the EBS suite
- Proven ability to write functional specifications for RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflow)
- Experience supporting SIT and UAT phases, ensuring quality and alignment with business processes
- Proficient in BR-100 documentation and other relevant functional documentation
- Strong communication and stakeholder-facing skills; ability to lead and manage meetings with business users and technical teams
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and coordinate with development teams
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Oracle EBS certifications (OM, Configurator, or related modules)
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies for functional teams
- Experience with Oracle EBS cloud migration or upgrades
- Familiarity with business validation processes in supply chain and finance modules
