Freelance Economics/Business Studies Tutor for IGCSE AS/A Level Students

We are hiring experienced IGCSE and AS/A Level Economics & Business Studies Teachers to join our online teaching team.

We are looking for passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused educators who can teach Cambridge IGCSE Economics, Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies, AS Level Economics, A Level Economics, AS Level Business, and A Level Business with clarity and confidence. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, a solid understanding of Cambridge curriculum expectations, and the ability to help students perform well in both concept building and exam preparation.

Responsibilities

Teach students enrolled in IGCSE and AS/A Level Economics and Business Studies programs.

Create personalised lesson plans based on each student's level, pace, and academic goals.

Support students with assignments, topical understanding, past paper practice, and exam preparation.

Conduct engaging one-to-one or small group online classes using platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or MS Teams.

Provide regular feedback, track student progress, and communicate improvement areas clearly.

Use past papers, marking schemes, and examiner-style guidance to strengthen student performance.

Stay updated with Cambridge syllabus changes and align teaching with the latest curriculum requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Commerce, Education, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in IGCSE and/or AS/A Level Economics or Business Studies.

Strong understanding of Cambridge curriculum, assessment objectives, and exam patterns.

Ability to explain concepts clearly and make lessons interactive and structured.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable using online teaching tools and digital resources.

Ability to adapt teaching strategies for different student learning styles.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching international students.

Cambridge curriculum teaching experience with proven student results.

Familiarity with examiner reports, mark schemes, and past paper strategies.

Ability to support students with both theory and case study-based question practice.
