Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Freelance Creative Director to lead the strategic and creative development of a bilingual brand campaign involving a major milestone for a respected institution in the region. The role requires refined storytelling, elevated design sensibilities, and the ability to craft culturally resonant narratives for high-value audiences. The position covers the development and direction of bilingual campaigns, film storyboarding, design refinement, and coordination across multidisciplinary creative teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a unifying creative platform and campaign concept across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases
- Design and direct Arabic-English creative assets across digital, print, and environmental channels
- Create cinematic storyboards, mood boards, and content flows for a brand video and social cutdowns
- Set direction for visual language, color palette, typography, and layout systems
- Oversee creative production for OOH, digital, and print materials
- Supervise event visuals, environmental branding, and digital interface creative direction
- Lead presentations to stakeholders, providing rationale and creative justification
- Ensure all work aligns with the intended tone of voice and brand personality
Deliverables:
- Campaign concept and creative platform deck
- Visual and narrative guidelines for teaser, reveal, and post-campaign phases
- Hero video storyboard and bilingual script
- Digital and social media creative suites
- Immersive visual concepts for brand environments
- Brand refresh guidelines covering color, layout, and tone
- Bilingual brand usage and internal training materials
- Presentation decks for internal and external reviews
Experience Required:
- 10+ years in creative leadership with experience across brand, campaign, and integrated design
- Proven success leading brand storytelling and large-scale creative campaigns
- Native or fluent Arabic proficiency (spoken and written)
- Strong conceptual and copywriting skills in both Arabic and English
- Portfolio demonstrating bilingual campaigns, cinematic storytelling, and brand systems
- Experience managing design, production, and strategy teams
Preferred Skills:
- Deep understanding of GCC market culture and creative sensibilities
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools
- Working knowledge of motion direction, production supervision, and UI/UX creative oversight
