Freelance Consultant- Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)

Our Client World's leading health and safety organization is looking to engage with a Consultant- Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), particularly in safety culture, behavioral safety, and cultural transformation within industrial or manufacturing settings.

Key Responsibilities:

-Advisory and change management support across multiple client sites, with a strong emphasis on safety leadership development, culture building, and organizational safety transformation.

-Lead safety culture assessments and advise on behavioural and cultural change strategies.

-Support clients in enhancing their occupational health and safety practices at both strategic and operational levels.

-Guide organizations through safety leadership journeys, including training and mindset shifts.

-Provide expert recommendations based on in-depth diagnostics and stakeholder engagement.

-Collaborate with client leadership to align safety culture initiatives with overall business strategy.

Duration- 6 to 12 months

Capacity- Part time

Location - India ( Frequent travel to client sites across locations)

Skills Required

-15 to 20+ years of experience in occupational health and safety or operations within manufacturing, plant, or industrial settings.

- Demonstrated career progression, including promotions and management responsibilities in reputed companies or multinational brands.

-Previous experience in companies with strong sustainability or safety frameworks.

-Exposure to culture-building and behavioural change programs in OHS environments.

-Deep understanding of safety culture, behavioural safety, and organizational change in manufacturing contexts.

-Ability to lead and influence at various organizational levels—from shop floor to senior leadership.

-Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

-Experience working in or with consulting teams is a plus (though not mandatory).
